Thunderstorm wind outnumbers hail about 2.3 to 1 here: 937 wind reports against 402 hail reports. In all: 1,370 NCEI Storm Events entries within 25 miles of Cincinnati or in Hamilton County, spread over 274 storm days.
On October 19, 2016, 2.75 in. (baseball size) hail was reported in Ohio County, Indiana — the largest in these records for this area.
