StormAuditor collects what it needs to run the service: account details, address searches you run, and payment records processed by Stripe (card numbers never touch StormAuditor's servers). Analytics are used to improve the product. Personal information is not sold. The full policy on this page details data categories, retention, third-party processors, cookies, and your choices.

What the full policy covers

• What we collect: account email and settings, home state and the optional account type you choose (homeowner, roofer, adjuster, attorney, and so on — changeable on your Account page), addresses you search, saved reports, subscription state, and how you found the site (first page visited and referring site, recorded at sign-up).
• Who processes it: payment processing by Stripe, transactional email delivery, hosting and analytics providers — each listed in the policy with its role.
• Cookies: what is set, why, and which are essential to keep you signed in.
• Your choices: accessing, correcting, or deleting your data, and how to contact us with any privacy request.

Address searches are used to generate your results and history — they are not sold to marketers, and StormAuditor does not send anyone to your door.
