What a hail report shows
For any U.S. address, the hail report lists dates when radar estimated hail at or near the property, the estimated maximum size (NOAA MRMS MESH), the distance from the property to the radar-estimated swath, SPC/NWS storm reports nearby, and warnings in effect. It distinguishes plainly between "radar estimated 1.25 in. over the property" and "1.25 in. about 2 miles away."
