One map for every storm day

The Storm Map puts a state's severe-weather history on a single interactive satellite map. Step through a day-by-day storm carousel — or jump to any date from the calendar — and the map redraws that day: ground hail and wind reports plotted at their published coordinates, every ASOS/AWOS weather station's measured peak gust, county shading for every NWS warning, and, on Pro+ plans, the statewide radar hail swaths and peak-gust wind swaths drawn cell-for-cell from NOAA data.

Radar Replay plays the day's archived NEXRAD radar in 5-minute frames. Coverage spans all 50 states.

From the map to a per-address report in one click

Click any location to identify its street address and open it in the Address Lookup, or search any U.S. address from the built-in search bar: the Free Report Snapshot is free with an account, and the full per-address Weather Report is included with Pro or $2.99 for one address.

Ground reports, station peak gusts, warning shading, and the hybrid satellite street map are free with any StormAuditor account; the statewide swath grid layers match the Hail Explorer and Wind Explorer and are included with Pro+.

Measured station peak gusts for every storm day — free

Turn on the Stations layer and every ASOS/AWOS weather station in the state shows its measured peak wind gust for the selected day, labeled in mph at the station's exact published location. Gusts of 40 mph and higher are ringed by wind band; where stations crowd together the strongest reading shows first and the rest appear as you zoom in.

Zone Canvas Tool: storm days inside your canvassing area

Pro+ and Organization plans add the Zone Canvas Tool. Click four points on the map to outline a subdivision, neighborhood, or canvassing territory, and the date carousel narrows to only the days since October 2021 with a radar hail swath, a wind swath, or a ground storm report inside that zone — with the estimated maximum hail size, estimated peak gust, and report count for each day.

Pick a day, see exactly where it hit inside the zone, then click any home for its per-address report. It turns "which storms touched this neighborhood?" into a one-minute answer for roofing, restoration, and adjusting teams.

Prefer charts? The dashboard switches between Chart View and Map View and remembers your choice. Estimates are derived from NOAA radar and analysis data under the published methodology.
