What a single date can and cannot show
A date lookup shows what the public record supports for that day at those coordinates: the analyzed wind, the radar-estimated hail, the warnings in force, and what people nearby reported. It does not show that damage occurred, and a quiet record does not rule out a storm — under-reported rural events and brief localized gusts are real phenomena. That's why every value comes with its evidence and distance, so you can judge how strongly the record supports the date rather than taking a single number on faith.

What date ranges are supported?
At-address estimates in the Weather Report and Audit Report cover every date since October 2021. Older dates can still be researched using warnings, LSRs, and NCEI Storm Events.
Do I get one number, or a range?
You get a single estimated peak wind gust and a single estimated max hail size at the address, sourced from the property’s own radar and analysis cells where available, with nearby evidence weighted by distance. Distance context appears separately.
